About TUCSIN

Dedicated teachers. Successful students. No profit motive.

TUCSIN is an autonomous non-profit institution, established in 1978 and registered since 1992 as an Educational Trust governed by a Board of Trustees working in honorary capacity.

Our teaching

A group of 14 dedicated teachers serve TUCSIN in full-time or part-time capacity at the Dr-Sandelowsky-Campus in Mont-Blanc-Street, Windhoek. The majority of subjects are taught four hours each week in Grade 11, with Mathematics receiving six hours. Grade 12 (AS-level) students have seven contact hours per week.

The TUCSIN approach has helped many diligent students succeed: from ungraded to an A, with some improving by four, three or two symbols. Although TUCSIN is more expensive than other institutions, it does not seek profit.

The Konrad Adenauer Foundation and TUCSIN

From 1984 to 1994 the Konrad Adenauer Foundation funded the TUCSIN Complementary Course. Approximately 250 students benefited; today they are found in key positions all over Namibia.
